Royals Individual Game Tickets to go on Sale October 1

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals Professional Hockey Club announced today that individual game tickets will go on sale Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at 10 a.m. for all 36 regular season home games as well as the October 5, 2002 preseason game at the Sovereign Center. Opening night of the Royals' sophomore season is Friday, October 11, 2002 vs. the Wheeling Nailers.

The Royals offer four convenient ways to purchase individual game tickets:


- Visit the Sovereign Center Box Office located at 700 Penn Street in downtown Reading. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.


- Visit the following Ticketmaster Outlets in Berks County:
- Boscov's North, 2910 N. 5th St., Reading, PA 19605.
- Boscov's East, 4500 Perkiomen Ave., Reading, PA 19606.


- Call Ticketmaster at 215-336-2000 or 717-260-2000.


- Visit Ticketmaster online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Ticket prices range from $7 to $15 depending on seat location:
- $7 each for Top Shelf tickets at the top row behind the nets**
- $11 each for Mezzanine tickets behind the nets
- $13 each for Executive tickets along the sides
- $15 each for Premier tickets from rows C-G around the entire rink

** New for the 2002-03 season: The $7 Top Shelf seats will be available for purchase when all tickets go on sale October 1, 2002. In the Royals' inaugural season, Top Shelf tickets were only available one hour prior to game time.
