BILOXI, Miss. - Mississippi Sea Wolves coach Bob Woods and general manager Mike Fitzpatrick announced today right wing Travis Lisabeth (LIZ-ah-beth) re-signed for the 2002-03 season. As per team policy, terms of the contract were not released.

Lisabeth, 22, returns to Mississippi after posting 19 goals and 22 assists for 41 points and 109 penalty minutes in 68 games with the Sea Wolves last season. During the 2002 Kelly Cup Playoffs, the 6-foot-0, 200-pound native of Langton, Ontario appeared in 10 games tallying one goal and 10 penalty minutes. Lisabeth will be attending the American Hockey League training camp of the Rochester Americans.

"I'm excited to re-sign with Mississippi," said Lisabeth. "My rookie season was a lot of fun and I can't wait to get back on the ice."

"It's a huge signing for us. If Travis doesn't make Rochester, he'll be coming to Mississippi," said Woods. "Lisabeth brings a strong work ethic and was very impressive scoring 19 goals as a rookie. I'm looking for even more from him this year."

The Sea Wolves home opener is at 5:05 p.m. on Sunday, October 13 against the Jackson Bandits. This season there is free parking, a million dollar puck shot and improved intermission entertainment.
