Lynx get Lundberg from AHL

The Augusta Lynx once again bolstered their blue line with the reassignment of defenseman Eric Lundberg from the American Hockey League's Albany River Rats, the team announced today.

A 22-year-old rookie out of Providence College, Lundberg saw action in 13 games in his second stint with Albany, recording two assists and six minutes in penalties. The 6-3, 200 lb. Vernon, Conn. native has appeared in a total of 27 AHL games this year with the River Rats and Syracuse Crunch.

Originally selected in the third round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche, Lundberg has appeared in 41 games with Augusta this year, registering three goals and 10 points to go with a +1 rating and 46 minutes in penalties.

Augusta rounds out the regular season in Greenville on Friday and Gwinnett Saturday before kicking off the playoffs against either Greenville or the South Carolina Stingrays.
