Mike Ayers going back to Syracuse

Dayton, OH- The Dayton Bombers of the ECHL announced today that goaltender Mike Ayers has been recalled by the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.

Ayers has played in 25 games for the Bombers, posting a record of 8-14-2 (4 those 8 victories coming via the shootout), a .894 SV% and a 3.43 GAA.

Ayers also led the ECHL in shootout save percentage with a .906 stopping 29 out of 32 shots against.

The Dayton Bombers continue their 15th Anniversary season at home this Saturday night April 8th at 7:00 pm at the EJ Nutter Center vs. the Wheeling Nailers.
