
LW Ryan Bayda reassigned to River Rats

ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats today announced that left wing Ryan Bayda has been reassigned to the American Hockey League club by the Carolina Hurricanes.
Bayda was recalled to Carolina on an emergency basis for Thursday night's game against Phoenix, and registered three hits and two penalty minutes in 14:49 of ice time. In six games with Carolina this season, the Saskatoon, Sask., native has recorded one goal and one assist. He has six goals and seven assists with a plus-7 rating in 16 games with Albany this season, including a hat trick in his last game prior to his recall, a 7-3 Albany win at Bridgeport on New Year's Eve.
