LANSING, Mich. - Juan Kelly homered, Tayler Saucedo tossed his team-leading sixth quality start, and the Lansing Lugnuts (9-4, 45-38) won their eighth home game in a row, 7-3, over the Dayton Dragons (3-8, 24-58) on Tuesday night at Cooley Law School Stadium.

Dayton took a brief 1-0 lead in the first inning on a Kevin Franklin RBI single, only to be swamped by seven quick Lansing runs.

In the second inning, J.C. Cardenas led off with a single, John La Prise drew a one-out walk, and Kelly followed by drilling his ninth home run of the year to right field.
Dayton All-Star Austin Orewiler (Loss, 2-7) allowed seven runs, four earned, on eight hits and a walk in five innings.
He was outpitched by Saucedo (Win, 4-7), who pitched six innings and gave up just two runs - one in the first inning, one in the sixth - while walking one and striking out four.
Starlyn Suriel pitched the seventh and eighth innings in relief, allowing a Mitch Piatnik home run, and Andrew Case made his Lugnuts return with a perfect ninth, notching a strikeout.
Both Wise and Kelly went 2-for-4 to lead Lansing's offense, with La Prise reaching base three times and scoring two runs on a single and two walks.
