Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (11-11) play the middle game of a three-game series against the North Division-leading Syracuse Chiefs (13-8) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 5-4 loss last night, the Pigs' three-game winning streak came to an end. Still, Lehigh Valley has started 3-1 on this six-game, North Division homestand... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- were rained out yesterday and wound up splitting an abbreviated, two-game, home series with Rochester. After getting off to a 9-4 start, the Chiefs have gone 4-4 over their last eight affairs. Syracuse has not won a Governors' Cup since 1976.
RHP Jake Waguespack (0-1, 9.00) will start for LHV against RHP Austin Voth (1-0, 0.96).
Tonight is Rhys Hoskins Bobblehead Night, presented by Burger King. First-pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
