(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) - RHP Michael Kopech allowed just three earned runs over six innings of work, but the Gwinnett Stripers battled back to score four runs in the ninth inning on Tuesday to get past the Charlotte Knights by a score of 8-6 in the middle game of their three-game series from BB&T Ballpark in Uptown Charlotte.
RHP Gregory Infante (0-1, 9.00), who came on in the ninth inning to close the game out with the Knights ahead by a score of 6-4, allowed all four runs to take the loss. Infante allowed a two-run home run to Jose Bautista and a solo home run to Dustin Peterson. The home run was Bautista's first of the season with the Stripers.

Shortstop Jose RondÃÅn, right fielder Juan Perez, and third baseman Matt Skole all chipped in with two hits apiece. Perez tripled and also added his sixth stolen base of the season.
