The IronPigs (53-65) wrap up their season-high, 10-game road trip with the finale of a three-game series against the fifth-place Syracuse Chiefs (52-67) at NBT Bank Stadium... With a 9-5 loss last night, the Pigs have lost back-to-back contests to the Chiefs and have fallen to 5-4 on the swing. Still, the Pigs are 24-17 on their last 41 affairs and are 31-23 since reaching their low-water mark on June 14... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- have won a season-high, nine-consecutive games (first seven against Pawtucket) for their longest winning streak since a nine-gamer during the 2012 season (June 18-26). They also had a nine-game winning streak in 2007 (May 26-June 3)... Next up for the Pigs is a four-game, three-day home series against Pawtucket (44-74), which has lost 10 consecutive games and is just unfathomable 6-35 since improving to 38-39 on June 28.

LHP Jesse Biddle (2-2, 4.88) will start for LHV against LHP Richard Bleier (3-1, 2.78).
