The second-place IronPigs (79-55) play Game 3 of a four-game series against the fifth-place Buffalo Bisons (65-70) at Coca-Cola Field... With a 12-2 win last night, the Pigs have evened the series, 1-1, while improving to 2-2 on this six-game road trip. The Pigs, who are now 27-16 since the All-Star Break, continue to lead Rochester by 3.5 games in Wild Card standings while trimming their postseason "Magic Number" down to six... The Bisons -- Toronto's top affiliate -- snapped their five-game losing streak on Friday but have now dropped eight of their last 10 affairs and have posted a 15-29 record since the All-Star Break... First-Pitch today is at 1:05 p.m. TOP PIGS!: With a win today, the Pigs will tie their single-season record with 80 wins (2011) while clinching their best record all-time (they will only play 143 G; so they'll be guaranteed a better winning percentage)... Also with a win tonight, the Pigs set a single-season record (42) for road victories. PENNANT PHEVER: With 9 games remaining in the regular season, the Pigs own a Magic Number of 6 for the Wild Card over Rochester -- which has won 3 games in a row and 8 of its last 10... SWB still has a Magic Number of 5 for the North Division title. ROC now hosts a two-game series vs. SWB starting today. I CAN SAID THE ANT!: Last night, LHP Anthony Vasquez (W, 7.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, BB, 3 K) didn't allow a hit until a solo HR by Chris Colabello in the B5... LHV has now gone 8-3 in his 11 IL starts this season and he hasn't left any of them with the Pigs trailing... Over his last 10 GS in the IL, he's 4-0, 2.43 (CG; 59.1/16) with 6 QS... Currently, he's 12-3, 3.18 in 27 G, 26 GS (164.1/58) between AA/AAA.

OFFENSIVE EXPLOSION: Last night, the Pigs scored 12 R [their largest total since a 16-1 win 6/11 vs. DUR] on 17 hits [tying their season high, also done 4/21 @ SYR and 7/14 vs. BUF]... In fact, the 7 R scored by LHV in the first inning tied their season-high for scoring one frame with 6/11 vs. DUR (B3) and 7/26 vs. SYR (B2)... Further, the Pigs went 10-for-18 with RISP last night -- falling one hit shy of tying their total over the past 9 G (11-62, .177)... LHV is back to .284 w/ RISP for the season, 2nd behind SWB (.285).

THAT'S HOW RUF RYDERS ROLL...: DH Darin Ruf (3-6, 2B, RBI, 2 R) has now hit safely in his last 13* G (21-50, .420-5-13, 4 2B, 3 BB, 11 R; *1 shy of career-high from '12 w/ Reading)... Since 7/1, the 30-year-old is batting .328-11-22 in 35 G (38-116; .655 SLG)... Ruf leads the IL lead in SLG (.544) & ranks 5th in HR (20) despite not joining LHV until 5/16... He's in 4th place in LHV all-time career HR (28); 5th in single-season HR.

'16 vs. REA: 7-0, 1.87 in 9 GS (53.0 ip, 35 h, 11 er, 15 bb, 49 k) RHP Mike Bolsinger -- who has spent parts of 3 ML seasons with ARI ('14) & LAD ('15-16) -- is a 6-1, 215-pound, 28-year-old who was acquired by TOR from LAD in exchange for RHP Jesse Chavez and cash on 8/1/16... Originally selected by ARI in the 15th round of 2010 out of University of Arkansas... Selected by CLE in the 34th round of 2006 and OAK in the 33rd round of 2009, but did not sign...

Acquired by LAD from ARI in exchange for cash on 11/22/14... The McKinney, Tex., native spent most of 2015 with LAD (6-6, 3.62 in 21 GS), but also had 10 G (8 GS) with Triple-A Oklahoma City (3-3, 2.31)... MLB Career (3): 8-16, 4.61 in 37 G, 36 GS (171 K in 189.1 IP)... Made ML debut on 4/14/14 vs. NYM (n/d, 3.0 IP, 2 ER)... Earned first ML win on 4/24/14 @ CHC (W, 6.2 IP, 4 H, R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 7 K)... 16-10, 3.95, 2 SV in 68 G, 15 GS over 3 seasons at UA (2008-10)... MiLB Career (7): 39-28, 3.51 in 131 G, 88 GS (536 K in 555.2 IP).

- MB is 1-3, 8.22 in 4 GS with BUF (15.1/14)... Last GS: 8/23 @ GWN: L, 2.2 IP, 6 H, 7 R, 6 ER, 3 BB, 5 K - 2016 w/ LAD: 1-4, 6.83 in 6 GS (25 K in 27.2 IP)... 2016 w/ Oklahoma City (AAA): 2-1, 3.41 in 13 G, 2 GS (34 K in 29.0 IP) ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS!: Last start (8/23 vs. SWB), RHP Ben Lively (W, 6.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, K) became the first pitcher in MILB to reach 16 wins this season (only 1 has 15 wins)... In fact, he retired 18 of 19 BF including the last 10 before being moved after 48 TP (IP limit)... The 24-year- old has logged 6 straight QS -- going 5-1, 2.31 (39.0/10)... For the season, he's a combined 16-5, 2.82 in 26 GS between AA/AAA.
