Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will continue their series with the Buffalo Bisons on Sunday afternoon. First pitch from Coca-Cola Field is slated for 1:05 p.m.
RHP Ben Lively (9-5, 3.29) will be on the bump for the IronPigs on Sunday afternoon. Lively earned the win on Tuesday vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre when he gave up one hit while fanning one over six shutout innings. The right-hander has allowed three earned runs or less in 13 of his 17 starts with Lehigh Valley this season.
RHP Mike Bolsinger (1-3, 8.22) will toe the rubber for Buffalo opposite Lively. The McKinney, Tex, native was acquired by the Blue Jays from the Dodgers in exchange for RHP Jesse Chavez on August 1.
After notching a multi-hit game on Saturday, Pigs 2B Jesmuel Valentin has now hit safely in six of his last eight games. During that stretch, Valentin is hitting .375-2-5 (9-24, 4 BB, 6 R).
