Lewis Clears Waivers, Free to Pursue Other Hockey Opportunities

Swift Current, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos have announced that 2003-born forward Braeden Lewis has cleared CHL Waivers and is now free to pursue other hockey opportunities.

"Braeden was such a respected teammate by our entire group," said General Manager Chad Leslie. "He was an unselfish person and player that helped us build our culture while he was here and was someone that set an example for our young players. We wish Braeden all the best in his future endeavors, he will no doubt be a very successful person."

This season, Lewis played in five games with the Broncos, earning one assist. The Virden, Man. product appeared in a total of 127 games with the Broncos across parts of five seasons. He scored nine goals and added 30 assists, along with 47 penalty minutes.

The Broncos would like to thank Braeden for his commitment to the Broncos organization over the years, and we wish him all the best moving forward.l
