TOUCHDOWN: Goalie Austin Elliott earned the shutout while defenceman Tanner Molendyk added collected two points in the Saskatoon Blades 7-0 win Wednesday vs the Edmonton Oil Kings are Rogers Place.

Elliott was sensational between the pipes stopping all 25 shots against, 12 of which came in the third period. It's the third career shutout for the Strathmore, AB product, remaining undefeated on he season with a 4-0 record. Elliott boasts an impressive .933 save-percentage and a 1.47 goals-against-average.

Captain Trevor Wong extended his point streak to six games with his first career Gordie Howe hat-trick. The Vancouver, BC product is now tied for second in points on the team alongside forward Easton Armstrong with ten (2G, 8A).

Armstrong and defenceman Grayden Siepmann both made their Blades debut after being acquired in separate trades Tuesday. Both men found the scoresheet on the same goal when Armstrong tipped home his first with the Blue and Gold off Siepmann's shot from the point.

The victory marks three straight for Saskatoon, improving to 5-2-0-0 on the season.

NEXT GAME: The Blades are back in front of SaskTel Centre Saturday when the welcome the Calgary Hitmen for "Harvest Celebration."
