The Lexington Legends scored four runs in the 10th inning without a hit, and beat the Rome Braves 14-10 Saturday night in Rome.

The Legends scored six runs on six hits in the first inning, including a two-run double by Tyler Burnett, but Rome bounced back with a run in the first and six more in the second to take a 7-6 lead. Lexington tied it at 7-7 in the third inning on a double by Burnett and a sacrifice fly by Emilio King.

Rome reclaimed the lead with a single run in the fourth and added another in the sixth for a 9-7 advantage. The Legends rallied with one run in the seventh and two in the eighth to take a 10-9 lead. The go-ahead run came on a sacrifice fly by pinch hitter Chris Wallace.

The Braves scored the tying run in the bottom of the eighth on a double by Robby Hefflinger, an infield out and a sacrifice fly by David Rohm. In the top of the 10th, Delino DeShields led off with a walk. Pitcher Tyler Stovall bobbled a sacrifice attempt by Jordan Scott and both runners were safe. Enrique Hernandez also tried to sacrifice, and Stovall's throw to third was too late to get DeShields, leaving the bases loaded. After Adam Bailey struck out , Mike Kvasnicka grounded slowly to shortstop. Elmer Reyes fielded the ball and threw home, but his throw was over the head of catcher Christian Betancourt and two runs scored. Burnett walked to load the bases again, and Hernandez scored as Ben Orloff grounded into a force play at second. Roberto Pena followed with a double, scoring Kvasnicka with the final run.

The Legends had 13 hits and five errors in the game. Rome had 15 hits and four errors.

David Martinez (3-0) got the win in relief. Stovall (0-3) took the loss. Lexington has won the first three games of the series, which concludes Sunday. Game time is 2 p.m.
