Lexington Legends third baseman Mike Kvasnicka has been named to the South Atlantic League Southern Division All-Star team, SAL President Eric Krupa announced Friday.

Kvasnicka was named a utility infielder for the Southern Division. He replaces Kyle Roller of Charleston, who was named to the team earlier, but will not play because of an injury.

Kvasnicka is batting .292 in 61 games with the Legends. He has hit three home runs and driven in 37 runs. He joins shortstop Jiovanni Mier, catcher Chris Wallace and outfielder Adam Bailey in representing the Legends at the All-Star game, which will be played Tuesday, June 21 in Salisbury, Maryland, home of the Delmarva Shorebirds.

"It's great to see Mike join his three Legends teammates at the All-Star game," said Legends General Manager Andy Shea. "He's had an outstanding season and is very deserving of All-Star recognition."
