The TinCaps loaded the bases in the bottom of the 7th but could not score. In the 9th , four Lansing runs scored; the big blow was Chris Emanuele's two-run homer to make it 9-2.
LHP Boomer Potts (3-0) was the winning pitcher for Lansing. LHP Zach Herr was charged with the loss to drop to 3-2.
