May 27, 2005 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Salt Lake Bees News Release
Salt Lake City â In an historic move that may be unprecedented in professional sports history, the Salt Lake Stingers and owner Larry H. Miller are giving away free tickets to families to attend a game.
All that a family has to do is log on to www.stingersbaseball.com, call 325-BASE or go to their Salt Lake Valley Albertsons. Each family can attend any one of the eight games on the homestand, and registration begins Saturday, May 28.
"During the summer, there's no better way for you and your family to spend quality time together than by going out to a ball game." said Miller. "Now that school is out for the kids, I'd like to personally invite your family to experience the fun of a free Salt Lake Stingers game. Hey, it's not often you can go to a ball game on me!"
This is the first time in Salt Lake City baseball history that the team owner has offered an entire eight game home stand to families. This offer by Larry H. Miller demonstrates his commitment to strengthening families by giving them a great way experience a family entertainment event together.
