Hamilton Bulldogs News Release

The Montreal Canadiens have reassigned forward Michael Lambert from the Hamilton Bulldogs to the Long Beach Ice Dogs (ECHL). Lambert, 21, played 37 games for the Bulldogs this season, posting 17 points (10 goals, seven assists) and 23 penalty minutes.

Hamilton's next game will take place tonight, Wednesday, February 15th when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies. Game time is 7:30 p.m. The Bulldogs have a number of promotions planned for tonight's game against the Marlies including honouring the Hamilton Spectator All-Decade Team as well as unveiling a new alternate jersey, which will be worn for at least one game during the 2006-07 season.

The Bulldogs will wear special jerseys tonight commemorating the team's 10th Anniversary Season. Jerseys worn in the game will be featured in a silent auction during the game on the Copps Coliseum Concourse. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Hamilton Bulldogs Youth Fund. In addition, there will be a one-of-a-kind team-autographed #10 jersey raffled off with the proceeds being donated in support of the Porto Family Scholarship Fund.

Tickets are available at Copps Coliseum Box Office (in-person sales only), any Ticketmaster outlet, online at ticketmaster.ca, or at select Sports Obsession locations.
