LAFC Unveils New Primary Black Jersey for 2020-21 Seasons

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) today unveiled the Club's new primary black jersey for the 2020-21 seasons.

Authentic and Replica jerseys will be available to purchase online at http://www.lafc.com/shop beginning Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 5:30 pm PT. Fans are invited to join LAFC series of community events beginning this evening from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. PT in Chinatown. Today's event will be the first opportunity for fans to view and purchase the brand-new black jersey. As part of the event, the Club will host an LAFC HQ retail pop-up store complete with jersey customization and exclusive product. Food, drinks, player appearances and a live DJ will complete the evening celebrating the new jersey in the heart of Los Angeles.

Celebrating LAFC's roots in the Los Angeles community, each element of the new primary jersey combines the Club's colors - black and gold - and is inspired by the grit and diversity of the city where LAFC calls home. Paying homage to global football culture, the Club's new black kit features embossed vertical black stripes, offering a fresh take on LAFC's authentic look. The jersey also features the black adidas EXT 3-Stripes across the shoulder.

LAFC's iconic crest is displayed above the heart, along with the primary kit sponsor YouTube TV and new sleeve patch partner Target, both celebrating gold with their logo marks. A nod to LAFC's inaugural kit, the gold neck tape inside the jersey reads, Shoulder to Shoulder, a rally cry to unite supporters and a reference to building the Club together though community and city partners. Additionally, the new black jersey features a black 3D raised LAFC rally flag jock tag, made to honor the Club's supporter group, The 3252.

The Club will host four days of community events presented by YouTube TV in conjunction with the release of the new primary jersey for the 2020 season beginning with today's jersey launch party in Chinatown. A complete list of activities can be found below.
