
LAFC to Take on Club León in the First Leg of the CONCACAF Champions League Final Tonight at 7 PM PT at Estadio León

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) will face Club León in the first leg of the 2023 CONCACAF Champions League Final tonight (May 31) at Estadio León. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM PT and will be broadcast on FS1 / TUDN.
Tonight's match marks the second time the MLS and Liga MX sides have faced off in a two-leg series in the CONCACAF Champions League. In their first series in 2020 the two met in the Round of 16 where LAFC defeated Club León 3-2 in aggregate.
The teams will meet again on Sunday, June 4 at BMO Stadium in the heart of Los Angeles in the second, decisive leg of the Concacaf Champions League Final - where a new continental champion will be crowned.
NEWS & NOTES
LAFC is the only MLS club to appear twice in a Champions League final twice.
This year, LAFC has outscored opponents 14 goals to three in the three rounds of competition it took to reach the Champions League Final.
Forward Denis Bouanga has scored six goals and made three assists in Champions League this year.
LAFC face Club León in the Champions League for a second time.
Carlos Vela leads LAFC with eight goals in Champions League having scored five in 2020 and three in 2023.
