CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union played Charlotte FC on Wednesday night at Subaru Park, earning a 1-0 home win. With the win, the Union remain in third place in the Eastern Conference with 27 points. The first half remained scoreless with both sides producing attacking opportunities. In the second half, an own goal by goalkeeper Kristijan Kahlina in the 70th minute secured all three points for the Union. With the result, the Union extended their unbeaten streak to eight games.
The Union return to Subaru Park on Saturday, June 3rd (7:30 p.m. ET / Apple TV), where they face CF Montréal.
