Kvapil Re-Assigned To Mississippi

NORFOLK, VA - Norfolk Admirals General Manager Claude Loiselle today announced that RW Marek Kvapil has been reassigned to the ECHL's Mississippi Sea Wolves.

Kvapil, 23, is a 5-foot-10, 188-pound right wing, from Ilava of the Slovak Republic. During his third stint with Norfolk starting on February 29, Kvapil played in 16 games, scoring two goals and four assists with two penalty minutes and a -7 rating. In total, Kvapil has appeared in 24 games with the Admirals this season with two goals, seven assists and two penalty minutes. In 175 career AHL games, Kvapil has 32 goals and 49 assists with 59 penalty minutes.

On the season with the Sea Wolves, Kvapil has nine goals and 15 assists with nine penalty minutes in 25 games. In 32 career ECHL games between Mississippi and Johnstown, the third-year pro has 12 goals and 23 assists with 11 penalty minutes.

The Admirals will round out the 2007-08 schedule with three road contests this week: at Albany on Wednesday, at Binghamton on Friday and at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday. All three games will be broadcast on 100.5 MAX-FM.
