The 'Dogs will wrap up their 2007-2008 season this week with four games in five days

The Hamilton Bulldogs (American Hockey League affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) will finish off their 2007-2008 season with four tilts in five days this week, including two home games at Copps Coliseum. The Bulldogs will host the Rochester Americans (AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers) on Wednesday, April 9th at 7:30 p.m. before concluding their home schedule against the Toronto Marlies (AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs) on Friday, April 11th at 7:30 p.m. The 'Dogs will then travel to the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland the next night (Saturday, April 12th) to square off with the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche) at 7:30 p.m. Hamilton will then round out their season at 5:00 p.m. in Syracuse on Sunday, April 13th in a battle with the Crunch (AHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets) at the Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter.

Last week, the Bulldogs registered a point in all three of their games with a 2-0-0-1 record. On Friday, April 4th, the 'Dogs dropped a 5-4 decision in a shootout to the Monsters in Cleveland, before returning the favour the next night (Saturday, April 5th) with a 2-1 win over Lake Erie at Copps Coliseum. Hamilton finished off the week at home with a 3-1 triumph over the Grand Rapids Griffins on Sunday, April 6th.

Attention season ticket holders! Wednesday, April 9th is 'Redemption Night!' BULLDOGS NOTES:

- On Saturday night (April 5th) against the Monsters, the Bulldogs snapped a season-long four-game home losing skid with a 2-1 triumph. Hamilton then dropped the Griffins by a 3-1 score on Sunday (April 6th) to record back-to-back wins for the first time since February 24th and 27th

- G Cedrick Desjardins made 33 saves on 34 shots to earn his first-career AHL win on Saturday night (April 5th), before turning aside 30-of-31 shots the next day (April 6th) in his second-career victory

- RW Jonathan Ferland is currently on a six-game point streak (Mar. 28-Apr. 6) with seven points (2-5-7) in that span. Ferland is the only Bulldog to have dressed in all 76 of Hamilton's games this season

- RW Brett Engelhardt tallied his first-career AHL hat trick on Friday night (April 4th) in the Bulldogs 5-4 shootout loss to the Monsters

- With an assist on Friday night in Cleveland, RW Duncan Milroy posted his 179th career point (75-104-179) and is now tied with Brian Swanson (71-108-179) for second place on the Bulldogs all-time scoring list

- RW Matt D'Agostini played in his first-career NHL game on Thursday, April 3rd with Montreal, registering 8:49 of ice time in 13 shifts with two penalty minutes in the Canadiens 3-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres. D'Agostini was re-assigned to Hamilton on Friday (April 4th) and posted a goal and an assist yesterday (April 6th) against Grand Rapids

- LW Greg Stewart played in his first-career NHL game on Saturday, April 5th in Montreal's 3-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Stewart had 11:26 of ice time with two shots and five penalty minutes in the game
