Houston Goaltender Khudobin Reassigned To Texas Wildcatters

HOUSTON, Texas - The American Hockey League's (AHL) Houston Aeros announced goaltender Anton Khudobin was reassigned by the Minnesota Wild to the Texas Wildcatters Monday after spending nearly two months with Houston.

The First Team All-ECHL rookie and Minnesota Wild prospect was recalled by Houston on February 13 and has totaled 12 appearances with Houston this season. The Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan native went 2-2-1 with Houston this season, posting a goals-against average of 1.99 and a .911 save percentage.

Khudobin has posted a 20-1-1-3 record with the Wildcatters this season while accumulating a 1.98 goals-against average and.934 save percentage in over 1500 minutes of play.

Before Houston's run to "Capture the Cup" the club will return home for the last two games of the regular season this weekend, April 12-13 against the Milwaukee Admirals. The Aeros and Admirals are currently tied for third in the division so this weekend will determine the playoff seeding!
