
Wolf Pack's First-Round Playoff Schedule Set

HARTFORD, April 5, 2008: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today the schedule of dates for the Wolf Pack's first Calder Cup playoff round.
The Wolf Pack will finish in second place in the AHL's Atlantic Division and will meet the third-place team, Kevin Dineen's Portland Pirates, in a best-of-seven Division Semi-final series, with the Wolf Pack having the home-ice advantage. The first two games of the series will be at the XL Center in Hartford, Wednesday, April 16th and Thursday, April 17th, with faceoff at 7:00 PM both nights. The series then shifts to the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland for Games Three and Four, which will be played Saturday, April 19th (7:05 PM faceoff) and Sunday, April 20th (6:05). If a Game Five is necessary, it will take place in Hartford Tuesday, April 22nd (7:00), Game Six, if necessary, would be Thursday, April 24th in Portland at 7:05, and if the series goes the full seven games, the decider would be Saturday, April 26th at the XL Center (7:00).

Tickets for the Wolf Pack's first two home games of the series (Games "A" and "B") are on sale now at the XL Center box office and all Ticketmaster locations, including Macy's at the Buckland Hills Mall and at the Westfarms Mall. First-round home playoff tickets for adults are priced at $20 for blue-level seats, $24 for red-level seats and $28 for grey-level seats. All first-round playoff seats for kids 16 or younger are $11.
Ticket strips are available now for all 16 possible Wolf Pack home Calder Cup playoff games. Those can be purchased through the Wolf Pack ticket office at (860) 548-2000, or on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com. Playoff strips start as low as $208 for adults in the red level and $176 for kids.
