Neal struck again on the power play for the only goal of the middle frame. Perttu Lindgren dangled from the point to the slot before feeding Neal in the right wing circle. The rookie winger made no mistake as he swatted the puck past McElhinney for his second tally of the night. Marty Sertich pushed the Iowa to 3-1 when he scored his team-leading 22nd goal of the season at 2:08 of the third period. The Flames began their comeback at 5:07 of the final frame when Derek Couture scored a power-play goal after banking a shot from the Iowa goal line off Stars netminder Matt Climie and into the Iowa net.
