NORFOLK, VA - After a successful conclusion to the home portion of the schedule, the Norfolk Admirals have embarked on a three-game road trip to close out the 2007-08 season.

On Wednesday night at the Wachovia Spectrum, the Admirals fell to the Philadelphia Phantoms 1-0 despite a 38-save effort from Marc Denis. On Friday night at Scope, Brandon Segal and Bracken Kearns continued their strong play, but the Admirals surrendered three goals in the second period as the Albany River Rats defeated them 5-2. In the Saturday night rematch, a three-goal explosion in the third period highlighted a night of fast action and hard hitting as the Admirals closed out their 2007-08 home schedule with a 5-2 victory over the Albany River Rats. A season-high crowd of 6,627 at Norfolk Scope saw Paul Szczechura score twice and both Justin Keller and Brandon Segal net a goal and an assist.
