Knicks Cap Homestand With 32-Point Victory Over Swarm

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, put the Greensboro Swarm away, 125-93, Tuesday night at Total Mortgage Arena.

Quinton Rose (affiliate) paced the Knicks (2-3) with a game-high 26 points on 61.1-percent shooting including going 4-7 from downtown. Obadiah Noel (available player pool) netted a season-high 20 points in 23 minutes off the bench only missing one shot, going 7-8 from the field and 4-5 from beyond the arc. He also added five boards and four dimes. Melvin Frazier Jr. (trade) scored 16 points and collected 13 rebounds.

For the Swarm (1-5), James Bouknight scored 23 points. Jalen Crutcher registered 14 points. Norense Odiase hauled 11 boards.

The Knicks were in front 36-27 at the end of the first quarter. Despite Greensboro outscoring Westchester 27-26 in the second quarter, the Knicks toted a 62-54 lead to the locker room.

Westchester mounted a 20-point lead in the third quarter at the 3:27 mark and would only trim three points off that advantage before the fourth quarter start, 93-76.

The Knicks continued to suffocate the Swarm as Greensboro became victim to a 30-point deficit with 4:41 remaining and a 32-point hole with 1:35 to go and with just a minute left.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 11, Westchester takes a trip to the Lakeland Magic for a 7 PM ET matchup.
