Raptors 905 Defeated by Capital City

Raptors 905 (2-4), the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors dropped the second night of back-to-back matchups against the Capital City Go-Go (6-1) 116-123 Tuesday evening. Reggie Perry spearheaded the 905's effort, putting up a season-high 37 points, nine rebounds, a steal, and two blocks. The Go-Go were led by Makur Maker who had a career-high 28 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists in the victory.

Capital City took control of the ball game early, shooting an efficient 68.4% and gaining a 13-point lead after the opening frame. The two teams traded baskets throughout the second, the 905 outscored the visitors 28-25 but Capital City was able to hold onto the lead going into the half.

Out of the break, the two teams played a near evenly-matched third quarter. A balanced scoring effort allowed the 905 to bring the game to single digits as they entered the final 12 minutes. Raptors 905 found their momentum as they opened the final quarter on a 7-0 run. The two teams went back and forth throughout the frame, but the 905's comeback effort fell short as Capital City came away with the win in Mississauga.

The 905 received complementary scoring from Dalano Banton who added 24 points, two rebounds, eight assists, and a steal on assignment. Quenton Jackson paced the Go-Go, contributing 21 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

The 905 head to Motor City to take on the Cruise Thursday, tip-off scheduled for 7:00 pm. The Go-Go continue their road trip in College Park as they face the Skyhawks Saturday at 6:30 pm.
