Manchester Monarchs News Release

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have activated goaltender Jonathan Quick from the injured reserve list, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced.

Quick, 27, has missed the last 24 Kings games after suffering a lower body injury on November 12 at Buffalo. He was placed on injured reserve on November 25 (retroactive to November 12).

Quick has played in 16 games for the Kings this season and has a 10-5-0 record, one shutout, a 2.35 goals-against-average, and a .905 save percentage. Earlier this week he was named to the U.S. Men's Olympic Hockey Team for the second time.

The Kings begin a five-game homestand at STAPLES Center tonight versus Vancouver with game-time set for 10 p.m. EST.
