LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have activated defenseman/assistant captain Matt Greene from the non-roster list and they have assigned defenseman Jake Muzzin to the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today. Greene is expected to be in the line-up for the Kings game tonight as they play at Colorado at 9 p.m. (ET).

Greene, 27, has not play this season after undergoing shoulder surgery during this past off-season. Muzzin, 21, has played in all six Kings games this season, his first in the NHL. He has one point (an assist) and zero penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3, 213 pound Muzzin is a native of Woodstock, Ontario. He was signed by the Kings as an unrestricted free agent on January 4, 2010.
