Pirates Breast Cancer Awareness Night

Representatives from the American Cancer Society's Making Strides for Cancer Walk and the Maine Medical Center's Breast Care Center were on hand Saturday night to drop the ceremonial opening face-off at the Pirates third annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night. Pictured from left to right are Pirates forward Paul Byron, Jennifer Simpson (Making Strides), Carol Bridges (Making Strides), Sara Lawson Link (Maine Medical Center's Breast Care Center), Tess Hakkila (Making Strides) and Bridgeport Sound Tigers forward Jeremy Colliton.
In the second intermission the Maine Medical Center's Breast Care Center presented a check on behalf of the Portland Pirates to the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in the amount of $4,132.
