
K-Wings to Spread Holiday Spirit

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings will be in the holiday spirit this week making five appearances around southwest Michigan
Later this afternoon, defensemen Mike Matczak and Brett Ponich will be visiting students at Arbor Academy.
On Wednesday, December 18th at 4pm members of the K-Wings will head to the local Boys and Girls Club. An initiative started by forward Ryan Del Monte, each member of the K-Wings has bought toys to donate to the club.
The following day (Thursday, December 19th) members of the K-Wings front office will visit the Salvation Army Toy Shop on Burdick Street from 11am-12:30 pm to help guests with their holiday shopping.
Later on December 19th, Kalamazoo's favorite mascot Slappy̢̮=84 cent presented by Consumers Credit Union will be joined by head coach Nick Bootland, team captain Elgin Reid, forwards Aaron Clarke and Ryan Del Monte and defenseman Brett Ponich during the K-Wings annual visit to the Bronson Children's Hospital.
The K-Wings will be bringing a portion of the 1,170 stuffed animals collected from last Friday's 14th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game. The remaining stuffed animals were donated after the game to the Salvation Army.
Also on Thursday, defensemen Sam Ftorek, goaltender Joel Martin and forwards Yannick Veilleux and Matt Caria will be at the Culver's on Gull Road from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for a K-Wings Kidz Club Party. Members of the Kidz Club can eat and meet the players as well as Slappy̢̮=84 cent presented by Consumers Credit Union.
Tickets for all 36 K-Wings home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000. Ticket office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Regular season ticket prices for home games are $13 and $17.50 for adults and only $7 for kids ages 12 and under. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice games and the New Year's Eve game) are just $1 more. Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single-game tickets in advance. Tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $2 (adults only).
Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan. These plans, along with holiday packs and group ticket packages may be ordered through the K-Wings Sales office by calling (269) 743-6011.
