Jets Re-Assign Hutchinson to Ontario

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, announced today that goaltender Michael Hutchinson has been re-assigned back to the Reign from St. John's IceCaps (AHL).

Hutchinson, 23, played in one game with the IceCaps since his recall on Dec. 14. He will return to Ontario where he has played in 17 games so far this season. In that time, the 6'3 goaltender has earned a 13-2-2 record, 1.91 goals against average and 0.928 save percentage.

The Barrie, ON native has played in 87 career AHL games, all with the Providence Bruins, for a 39-37-5 career record.

He was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins in the third round, 33rd overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
