Kalamazoo Wings News Release

KALAMAZOO- The Kalamazoo Wings will be without the services of forward Nathan Longpre for tonight's game against the Wheeling Nailers. Earlier this afternoon, Longpre was recalled to the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves.

Longpre's reassignment to Chicago marks the 20th time this season that a member of the K-Wings has been either called-up or loaned to an AHL team.

In a separate transaction, the K-Wings have signed Larkin Saalfrank as the team's emergency backup goaltender.

The K-Wings will start the week tonight, Friday, January 30th with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Wheeling Nailers on 80's Night presented by PNC. Kalamazoo will celebrate everything 80's from head shots to a Richard Simmons Workout Relay Race Challenge during the first intermission.

This evening will also be a 3, 2, 1 Countdown to Fun!, featuring $3 beer, $2 Pepsi products and $1 hot dogs featuring Winter Sausage hot dogs and Harding's Friendly Markets buns.

Concluding the week tomorrow, Saturday, January 31st, the K-Wings and Nailers will square off again at 7:30 p.m. on 90's Style Game Show Night, presented by Sam's Club. Sam's Club will host Supermarket Sweep. Fans will also be able to compete in a lot of other popular 90's game shows from Family Feud to American Gladiators.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are currently on sale at Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.

Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan. These plans along with group ticket packages (15 or more people) may be ordered through the K-Wings front office by calling (269) 743-6011.
