The Mudcats and Dash continue their four game series with game two tonight at Five County Stadium. RHP Lucas Sims gets the start for the Mudcats tonight in search of his first victory since his final start in the first half on 5/9 in Salem. Sims has made two straight starts since returning from the disabled list on 7/3 and has allowed seven runs (six earned) over his last 6.1 innings. He has faced the Pelicans in back-to-back starts and is 0-1 with an 8.53 ERA over his two second half starts. Sims enters tonight's start 2-4 with a 5.82 ERA over eight starts this season with the Mudcats. He was 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA over two starts (13ip, 12h, 3r, 2er, 2bb, 10so) in May before going on the DL (5/14).
Tonight's game begins at 7:00 p.m. at Five County Stadium and will air on the Mudcats Radio Network with the pre game show beginning at 6:45 p.m.
