Jacksonville and Nashville Postponed Thursday Night

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Thursday's scheduled contest between the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and the Nashville Sounds has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday at a time to be determined. Game two of the doubleheader will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Each game will be a seven-inning contest.

Fans holding a ticket to Thursday's game can exchange that ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value, subject to availability, to any remaining 2022 game at the Miller Electric Box Office.

Jacksonville and Nashville will also be playing a doubleheader on Friday with first pitch set for 5:05 p.m. for game one. The teams will play two seven inning contests.

Gates will open at 4 p.m. on a Red Shirt Friday. Jumbo Shrimp players will be wearing their red Bold City jerseys to support the military. Fans who wear red can save $1 off at the Miller Electric Box Office or can donate that dollar to charity. It's also Friday Night Lites, and fans can enjoy $2 12-oz. Miller Lites and $1 off craft beers in the Craft Cave at the Third Base Gate. On Rock Induction Night, the Jumbo Shrimp will celebrate another class of Rock and Roll icons with a themed fireworks show after the doubleheader presented by UNF as the school celebrates its 50th anniversary.
