ELMIRA, NY - October 31, 2015 - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, face-off against the Manchester Monarchs in the first ever meeting tonight at First Arena for a Halloween showdown.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
The Jackals spend their Halloween evening hosting the Manchester Monarchs for the first ever meeting. Manchester is in its first season in the ECHL following the summer ECHL-AHL market movement. Elmira will look to provide the fans with a sweet victory over its new East Division rival in a Halloween matchup.
FAST FACTS
? Rookie forward Cason Hohmann has recorded seven points (2G,5A) in the last three games. The Arlington, TX native leads the Jackals with eight points and ranks second among ECHL rookies.
? Forward Colin Jacobs recorded his first career shorthanded tally and first pro overtime winner last night against Orlando. The Coppell, TX native current has a career-long three-game goal streak in which he has scored four times.
? Forward Tyler Currier scored his first goal as a Jackal in his team debut last night against his former squad. His early third period goal helped spark the comeback victory.
? The Jackals have had ten rookies suit up for the squad through the first six games this year.
? Elmira signed forward Matt Harlow to a SPC on Thursday. He appeared in 12 games with the Jackals at the end of last season and recorded four points. He joins Sam Marotta as the second member of the team to hail from Bridgewater, Mass.
