March 2, 2008 - ECHL (ECHL)
Elmira Jackals News Release

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that they have signed forward Zachary Kane while the Ottawa Senators (NHL) have reassigned defenseman Tomas Kudelka to Elmira and right wing Jim McKenzie to Binghamton (AHL).

Kane, 22, skated in 31 games this season with the Jamestown Vikings of the now defunct Mid-Atlantic Hockey League, scoring eight goals with and 25 assists for 33 points.

Kudelka was with Binghamton this weekend after the completion of his seven-game ECHL suspension, but did not play in either the Senators' 3-2 shootout win in Philadelphia Friday or the club's 3-2 regulation loss at Bridgeport last night.
