Falcons Sign Rookie Defenseman John Curley

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that the team has signed rookie defenseman John Curley to a contract. He will make his Falcons' debut this afternoon when Fresno hosts the Utah Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m.

Curley appeared in five games earlier this season for the Valley Forge Freedom of the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League. The 22-year-old completed his collegiate career last season at Johnson & Wales University, a Division III school in Providence, Rhode Island. Curley played in 99 career games, tallying 14 points and adding 158 penalty minutes.

The Falcons host the Utah Grizzlies this afternoon at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday Kids' Day, presented by Comcast Cable and Soft Rock 98.9. Tickets for kids 14 and younger are just $7.
