Michael Couch picked put his third goal of the season when he broke down the ice two-on-one with Lascek and redirected the Slovak forwards' centering pass by Ayers to make it 4-0 Sea Wolves at 5:33 of the third period. Mark Hurtubise would score his 10th goal of the season, roofing the puck over Ayers on the power play at 11:26. At 14:12, Hurtubise beat Ayers low along the ice to the stick side to give Mississippi a 6-0 lead.
