BRAMPTON, ON - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, continue their five-game road stretch with a pair of games this weekend in Brampton against the Beast. Elmira is 3-1-0 against Brampton this season.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
This weekend the Jackals begin a stretch in which they will face-off against the Brampton Beast seven times in the remaining 15 games of their regular season. These matchups will mark the fifth and sixth of 11 overall between Elmira and Brampton this season and the second and third of five at the Powerade Centre. The Jackals are 3-1-0 against the Beast this season, winning the only meeting in Brampton and taking two of three in Elmira. In the last contest, the Jackals trailed late in the third period when Mike Seidel stepped up with a game-tying goal and the pesky pack went on to win 2-1 in a shootout. Colin Jacobs and Tyler Gjurich scored in the skills competition while C.J. Motte stopped 18 of 19 shots faced and two of three shootout attempts to earn the win. In the only meeting in Brampton thus far, the Jackals cruised to a 5-2 victory behind C.J. Motte's 32 saves and three-point efforts from Cason Hohmann and Colin Jacobs. Colin Jacobs leads the Jackals with four assists and five points against the Beast while Cason Hohmann leads the way with three goals. The Jackals are 3-1-0 all-time at the Powerade Centre and have won eight of the first 10 meetings in the series history.
