J.F. Plourde Suspended for 3 Games

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that it has suspended Columbus center J-F Plourde for three games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game # 653 vs. Greenville on January 30.

At 16:13 of the second period, Plourde received a major penalty for cross checking and a game misconduct under Rule 50(a). Plourde is suspended three games under Rule 33A Supplementary Discipline.

Called up to Toronto of the American Hockey League on February 1, Plourde will miss the first three games that Columbus plays upon his return to the ECHL.

The Cottonmouths' next home game is Tuesday, February 10th against the Florence Pride. Game time is 7:30 p.m. and gates open at 6:30 p.m. Box office opens at 10 a.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets are available in all sections. Upper level tickets are $10, lower level tickets are $14 and ice level tickets are $16. All military receive $3 off any ticket price with a military ID card. Children 12 and under receive $3 off any ticket price with their library card every Saturday.
