AT THE DISH: Entering Friday's contest, Brian Serven had four career triples. He ended the evening 2-for-3 with two triples ... Ryan Vilade finished 2-for-4, extending his career-best hitting streak to 15 games ... Rio Ruiz recorded a hit in his return to Albuquerque, extending his current Triple-A hitting streak to 10 games.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Albuquerque starter Dereck Rodriguez (3-2, 8.08) earned the win after allowing one run over 5.0 innings. The right-hander struck out seven and walked three ... Ian Clarkin pitched a scoreless sixth inning ... In his first outing since coming off the injured list, Chad Smith struck out the side in the seventh ... Zac Rosscup picked up his fifth save of the season in his return to the Isotopes.

TOPES TIDBITS: Joshua Fuentes' start in left field was his first professional start in the outfield, however, Fuentes did not have a play on a ball all game ... Albuquerque has won 22 of their last 31 games and eight of their last nine.

ON DECK: The Isotopes continue their six-game series on Saturday when Frank Duncan (3-0, 2.28) gets the start. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
