AT THE DISH: The Isotopes had one extra-base hit, a double off the bat of Rio Ruiz. He was one of five Isotopes to record a hit on the night ... Dustin Garneau reached base twice, drawing two walks ... Taylor Snyder drove in the Isotopes only run on a two-out single in the sixth.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Dereck Rodriguez (3-3, 7.13) took the loss, allowing three earned runs over 5.2 innings. He struck out two and did not issue a walk ... Logan Cozart allowed one run over 0.1 inning out of the bullpen when Heath Holder and Jesus Tinoco each tossed a scoreless inning.

TOPES TIDBITS: The Isotopes are 6-8 in series finales (4-3 on the road) ... Albuquerque was 1-for-4 with runners in scoring position and left six on base.

ON DECK: After a league-wide off-day on Wednesday, the Isotopes head to Las Vegas to open a six-game series with the Aviators (Triple-A Athletics). Right-hander Frank Duncan (3-1, 3.22) is scheduled to make the start for Albuquerque.
