DES MOINES, IA - The Iowa Stars dropped a heartbreaker to the San Antonio Rampage, falling to the Texas-based team, 2-1 at Wells Fargo Arena.

Junior Lessard netted the lone goal for the Stars. The Quebec-born right-winger registered a team-high 11 shots in the contest. Jamie Johnson extended his point-streak to four games by recording an assist on Lessard's marker. Johnson has six points, including five assists, in his first four AHL games.

The Stars fired a season-high 45 shots on Rampage goalie Scott Stirling. Stars goaltender Mike Smith faced 35 shots in the loss.

Attendance was 4,043.

NEXT GAME: The Iowa Stars host the Hamilton Bulldogs at Wells Fargo Arena on Saturday, November 19th. The puck drops at 7:05 PM.
