Falcons reassign a pair to Johnstown

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they have reassigned defenseman Gerard Dicaire and goaltender Jonathan Boutin to their ECHL affiliate, the Johnstown Chiefs.

Dicaire has played in nine games for the Falcons this season not collecting a point. In 47 games with the Falcons last season, the Fort St. John, British Columbia native collected three goals and four assists for seven points and 20 penalty minutes.

Boutin has played in two games for Springfield this year posting a record of 0-1-1 with a 1.93 goals against average and .945 save percentage. Boutin started the season with the Chiefs playing in three games posting a 3.29 goals against average and .912 save percentage. Boutin was recalled by the Falcons on October 30th.

The Falcons return to action on Friday, November 18 when they host the Albany River Rats at the MassMutual Center starting at 8:05 PM. Springfield will travel to Bridgeport on Saturday before returning home on Sunday to host the Binghamton Senators at 4:05 PM. All three games can be heard live on the Falcons Hockey Network, WMAS AM 1450, as "The Voice" of the Falcons John Michael handles the play-by-play duties. All games can also be seen live through the B-2 Network for only $6.00.
