The night is designed to raise money for injured first responders. In light of recent events, the Independence Police Department and Independence Professional Firefighters Local 3945 will donate all money raised to the family of the late Cincinnati police officer Sonny Kim.
Scott Schultz from the Independence Police Department and Sean Barth from Independence Professional Firefighters Local 3945 made the decision for the fundraiser to benefit the Kim family.
