Louisiana IceGators News Release

Lafayette, LA – The Louisiana IceGators will look for their fourth straight 3-0-0 start Friday when they visit the Florida Everblades in Estero, Fla., at 6:35 p.m. (ct). The teams will meet again Saturday at TECO Arena at 6:35 p.m.

Prior to head coach and vice president of hockey operations Dave Farrish's arrival in 2000-01, the IceGators had won the season's first three games just once in five campaigns. The IceGators have won three straight to begin the season in each of Farrish's first three years, including a pair of 5-0-0 starts.

The IceGators will also look to improve upon their impressive October numbers under Farrish. With Farrish at the helm, Louisiana is 22-2-1 in October. One of those two October regulation losses, though, came at TECO Arena on October 21, 2000, when the Everblades took a 4-2 decision.

The IceGators return home following a five-game road trip for a 4:05 p.m. game against Columbus on Sunday, Nov. 9. That game is Military Appreciation Night. Special group discounts are available by calling the IceGators office at (337) 234-4423 prior to November 1, and special walk-up discounts are available after that.

Individual tickets for all games, starting at just $10 for adults and $9 for kids (ages 2-12 in any level), are now on sale at the Cajundome Box Office and Ticketmaster outlets. Full season ticket packages, half season plans and Ice Packs are still on sale and can be purchased by calling (337) 234-4423. Season ticketholders get great benefits like the concession item of the game and merchandise discounts. Full season packages start at just $288, while children ages 4-12 can have season tickets for only $225 in any level, including rink side, with an adult purchase.
