Mississippi Sea Wolves News Release
BILOXI, Miss. â Bob Woods, Coach and Director of Hockey Operations of the Mississippi Sea Wolves announced today that left wing Tom Rouleau (REW-loh) has been traded to the Cincinnati Cyclones for futures.
Rouleau, 25, played in three games with the Sea Wolves this season, accumulating four penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin was acquired in a trade with the Reading Royals on August 11. Rouleau is in his second season of professional hockey.
"We were forced to make a move after Sergei Kuznetsov re-signed," said Woods. "It's a good situation for Tom. Cincinnati is looking for a big forward and he's going to get more ice time there."
The Sea Wolves play two home games this weekend. On Saturday at 7:35 p.m., Mississippi hosts the Columbus Cottonmouths at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Promotions include $2 hotdogs and $2 beers from 6:30-8:30 p.m., plus the Gulf Coast Youth Hockey Association will be holding a "Shirt off Our Back" Jersey Raffle. Raffle tickets are just $10 for your chance to win an authentic game-worn Sea Wolves jersey.
Then on Sunday, the Texas Wildcatters pay a visit to the Wolves Den at 4:05 p.m. It's the first game in the battle for the Nextel Cup. Promotions consist of the "Party Four-Pack", with four tickets, four hotdogs, four soft drinks for $44. It is also the Cellular South / WXXV Fox 25 "Honor Roll Night." In addition, the annual "Trick or Treat" with the Sea Wolves will take place postgame, courtesy of the Booster Club.
